What Can Add Time to Your Move?
Certain conditions may increase move time by 10-20%:
Readiness — Not Ready? No Problem, Move Takes Longer.
The more organized and packed you are (If we are not packing), the faster the move. If items aren't boxed, labeled, or prepped, additional time may be needed for packing, disassembly, or organizing.
Oversized or Specialty Items
Pianos, safes, pool tables, and other heavy or delicate items require extra handling.
Stairs, Elevators & Long Walks
Extra flights of stairs, long carries, or waiting for an elevator can slow the process.
Difficult Parking or Steep Driveways
Limited access may require additional loading strategies.
Multiple Trips Required
If everything doesn't fit in one truckload, additional time is needed for return trips.
Building Restrictions
HOA rules, parking permits, and move-in time restrictions may cause delays.
Weather Conditions
Rain, extreme heat, or ice can impact loading and unloading times.
Last-Minute Changes
Adding services, additional items, or rearranging plans mid-move can extend the process.
Specific Placement & On-Site Rearranging
If rugs need to be placed under couches, furniture needs to be lined up with precision, or items require detailed positioning and reorganization, extra time may be necessary to ensure everything is set exactly how you want it.

On-Truck Storage — If you need your items held on the truck overnight or for multiple days, additional daily fees apply.
